"Zombie and Ghost"

I have a certain place in my heart for ghosts and zombies. I don’t know why. When I was little that kind of stuff used to scare the stuffing out of me. As I got older though, I revisited many of the movies that once did this, and upon seeing these “scary” movies I laughed. But at the same time I could see how at a younger age it would scare someone. I would think about these movies and stories and stuff and be fascinated by it all. The concepts and thought processes that go against people’s psyche. The stories in a whole are able to scare people by going to their vulnerabilities in a setting that is fantasy. I have always toyed around with the notion of making a story that played off of folklore and legends of “monsters” and what not. I watch Supernatural now, which pretty much took up that idea.

So I decided to take these ideas and make fun of them. Not so much as disrespectful to my fascination with these, but a poke at the cliché they have become. I have yet to come up with concrete names for these two characters, but the premise is going to be a ghost and a zombie chiding each other as they attack… or at least attempt to attack two Humans. My original title was just going to “Zombie, Ghost, Ted and Alice.” I look at that and I feel that I can do better, cause with that title, the main characters don’t have any personality and are just cardboard stereotypical versions of what I would like to make them. But until I come up with something I am just going to call them Z & G. These are brand new characters I am coming up with and not something that I am pulling from my back catalogue of ideas. So creating unique and interesting personalities is a little difficult. I want them to be stereotypical but at the same be a little different and play around with ideas.
